Alipàsti together with the new generation for the appreciation of gastronomic heritage.
On September 23rd, our company had the honor to participate in the seminar of the University of Bari, Italy, on Fish Processing and Preservation – a topic that is at the core of our expertise.
CEO Georgios Karagounis presented to the students of the university the Greek experience of Alipàsti, highlighting modern methods of processing, preserving and utilizing fish with high quality standards.
He spoke about Alipàsti's journey from Volos to the international market, as well as the importance of producing "clean label" products that combine tradition and innovation.
With the support of Prof. Simona Tarricone, the students had the opportunity to get to know:
the flavors and quality of Greek fish
the philosophy of authentic Greek gastronomy
the practices we follow at Alipàsti for reliable and innovative products.

Alipàsti made a dynamic appearance at the FOOD EXPO 2025, the International Food and Beverage Exhibition, which took place from March 8 to 10 at the Metropolitan Expo Center in Athens. FOOD EXPO is the largest food and beverage trade show in Southeastern Europe, attracting more than 40,000 industry professionals. This year’s event hosted 1,300 production and commercial companies from Greece and abroad, showcasing over 50,000 premium products. Alipàsti's presence at the exhibition significantly enhanced the company’s visibility and promoted its products, contributing to the development of new partnerships and strengthening its position in the market.
The online edition of the newspaper "Thessalia" featured an extensive article on Alipàsti’s participation in the International Food and Beverage Exhibition.



On November 20, 2024, Alipasti was honored to be featured in an article by the esteemed magazine Food Reporter, showcasing the company's philosophy and products. The article focused on the company's core values, commitment to quality and tradition, and the creation of a "clean label" product line free of preservatives and additives. It also highlighted the story and vision of the founder, George Karagounis, whose passion and innovation are steering Alipasti toward new horizons of flavor. This publication represents a significant recognition for our company, reaffirming our efforts to bring "the finest from Volos" into every home.

From June 28 to June 30, 2024, Alipasti participated with great success in the Pelion Gastronomy Festival, held at Karaiskos Farm under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization. Through this celebration of gastronomy, Alipasti showcased its exquisite products, highlighting the unique flavors and quality of Greek seafood. Visitors had the opportunity to discover the company's philosophy on "clean label" products and savor authentic Greek meze that blend tradition with innovation. Our participation in the festival was a remarkable experience and a unique opportunity to promote our vision for high-quality gastronomy inspired by the flavors of Volos.
